If either of the parents of this Miami Okeetee corn are het for Caramel, it’s unbeknownst to me, SO, I don’t understand why this one exhibits such strong yellow in the first part of the body, unless it’s overt early exhibition of carotenoid retention?? The latter is surely the explanation, so it will be interesting to see what this snake looks like in another year, two years, five years?
