Similar to a picture I featured in 2016, a comparison of the sloughed epidermis (shed skin) of a Scaleless corn and that of a scaled corn (scaleless version lower-right).  The belly scales of both are similar, HOWEVER, there seems to be a thickness to the skin of the Scaleless mutants that surpasses the skin thickness of most scaled corns??
