This Shatter (Sunkissed Cinder) laid 17 nice eggs for me on May 4, 2018, so in roughly 75 DAYs we will be offering the hatchlings. They were sired by a Cinder Tessera so the brood will include Cinders and Cinder Tesseras, all het for Sunkissed. If I’m pleasantly surprised to discover that the Cinder Tessera is het for Sunkissed, I may also be selling Shatters and Shatter Tesseras. Line up if you would like to be on the Reservation List for the hatchlings.

The newest U.S. Ratsnake species to be discovered in decades is the Kisatchie (aka: Slowinski’s Ratsnake), Pantherophis slowinskii. ToDAY’s featured Kisatchie is a Silverleaf mutant, produced by Dr. Brad Lichtenhan here in Texas, discovered by KJ and Kasi Lodrigue. This one is obviously aberrant, but aberrant pattern is very common in this gene mutation of the Slowinski’s species. There is only one other mutation (BLACK) at this time, which is an Anerythristic type mutation. I call them BLACK so people will not mistakenly think they are the result of inter-species hybridization with an Anery mutant of the corn snake species. One thing I like about this species is that I have never yet seen any yellow carotenoid expression. Even the BLACK mutants of this species do not get the yellow that is so common in most Anery-type corn snakes. BONUS PIC . . .

No, we don’t breed Palmettos any more, but Travis Whisler Reptiles–who purchased our entire Palmetto inventory–is already cooking lots of 2018 eggs. Thank you, Darren Bennett (DGB Geckos in Scotland) for making it possible for me to own some of these gems that you discovered and reproduced. One of the newest gene mutations in the species, Bogertophis subocularis, this fully striped TP Ratsnake is amazing. Since introducing the first Albino Trans-pecos (aka: suboc) to our hobby back in 1989, I’ve waited a long time to see a fourth mutation demonstrated in this species. In their order of discovery, the currently proven gene mutations in Subocs are; Blonde, Axanthic, Albino, and Stripe. Darren sent me a picture of a completely pattern-less Suboc that he hatched, so that COULD be another mutation, once its mode of inheritance is proven?

Still learning my limitations, I guess I don’t need three of these males, so this male 2015 RedFactor (RF) Snow Tessera corn snake is for sale. He only has one of the paired gene copies of the Red Factor mutation, but some of his progeny will inherit the gene. If you breed this male to any Red Factor mutants, some of the progeny will be homozygotes (possessing both of the paired gene copies) and therefore, much redder than this male? He is 33″ long, eating frozen/thawed weaned mice. His $265.00 price includes

Hatchling picture from a few years ago, this High-white Reverse Okeetee remains toDAY one of the best we’ve ever hatched. Only a tinge of color in the white, in the neck region?
