Someone recently asked me to explain/demonstrate the variety of belly pattern in Bloodred corns. After sending them some of these pictures, I thought I’d share these photos with everyone. These three photos certainly do not demonstrate all of the variability of belly pattern in this morph, but they are all examples that are common in the hobby toDAY. MOST Bloodreds have little or no black on their bellies, but what you should never see in a Bloodred homozygote is black belly checkering. S
