Snake of the Day 02-18-19

Show & Tell

Thanks, Kevin Saunders, for this beautifully dark Scaleless corn snake.  At first, I thought I had a Scaleless Texas Ratsnake–because of the large lateral spots and the general coloration–but belly markings are spot-on for corns.  I only know one person who got progeny from the pairing of a het Scaleless Texas Ratsnake to a Scaleless corn snake.  They did not get any Scaleless progeny, but obviously, more trials are necessary before saying that their Scaleless genes are not allelic (not located on the same DNA locus–therefore, not compatible)?  When I breed this snake to a Scaleless corn, I’ll quickly share the results. BTW, this one is possibly het for Amel, Hypo and Sunkissed.
