SHOW & Tell:

Because Terrazzos originated from Key Corn stock (aka: Rosy Rats) they generally have a slender body conformation.  These Charcoal Terrazzos (some are likely Pewter Terrazzos, but I don’t yet know which) look scrawny at this age (three to four DAYs-old) but they make up for it with a great appetite for unaltered, frozen/thawed pinky mice.

This Hypo Corn is laying her second 2014 same-season clutch of eggs.  We seldom (if ever) re-breed females after their first clutch of the season, so some of them give us as many infertile eggs as fertile.

First Palmetto of the 2014 season hatched on SaturDAY, April 12th.  He has at least three red color-splashes.  The blue arrow points to his egg, demonstrating how badly the little bugger wanted to get out of that egg.

Not what you’d probably expect from looking at him, this 25″ male 2013 corn appears to be a pied-sided (p/s) Bloodred, but his ancestry suggests otherwise.

Our German-Line Kastanies (originally discovered by Frank Schaub in Germany) are spectacular.  We have two adult females and one adult male that have the red heads demonstrated by this female.
