Update pic of the Scaleless corn snake from Chip Bridges that we believe to be a Lavender mutant (no change in color since last update).  It rocked the corn snake hobby a few years ago when breeders in France discovered that Scaleless Lavender corns were predominantly orange, with NO blue or purple, demonstrating that some of the chromatophores and refractive iridiophores that render the colors Lavender/Blue to our eyes largely–if not solely– reside in the outer epidermal generation of the Integumentary System.   Therefore, rendering orange instead of the typical Blue colors seen in scaled Lavender mutants.  Why this snake hatched blue but did not stay blue remains a mystery.  Thanks, Chip.  I love this guy. 2014  PIC . . .

This 19″ 2014 male Super Salmon Snow Corn is a shocking example of the CORAL color that’s possible in some corn snakes.  He would be an awesome contributor to the future project of reproducing super-pink Scaleless corns. He is currently eating frozen/thawed medium to large pinky mice.  He is called SUPER because he is a homozygote (possesses both gene copies) of the mutation that causes the predominant exaggeration of pink/coral; Red Factor.  His $345.00 price includes
