Snake of the Day 09-05-13

DAY090513
Update pic on one of the “Striped” Sunkissed corns we hatched this year.  Ground and pattern color zones seem to be losing their contrast??  I’m still hopeful this will perhaps start a line of truly striped Sunkissed mutants.  I DO love the Sunkissed corns that have orderly ovals down the back, but would love to see a truly striped Sunkissed.  Traditionally, the sunkissed gene mutation does not play well with other pattern mutations in corn snakes.  Most of the time that’s a good thing, but other times not so much

Snake of the Day 08-30-13

DAY083013
Each new generation of the Buckskin Okeetee corns is better than the last. These two will have outstanding colors, and
they are not het for Caramel (as one might suspect by seeing the extreme golds and yellows in their ground color zones).
