ToDAY’s SOTD featured Scaleless Tessera looks like he’s sheltering his eyes from all of the camera flashes (can’t blame him), but it’s perhaps parallel to the Ostrich head-in-the-sand phenomenon because it’s utterly rare for a snake to cover its eyes to protect from sun, but surely if they can’t see the camera in my hands, he may have felt like he was hidden from me?
