This 32″male corn is the product of pairing a Java with a Kastanie.  His $175.00 price includes  His price would be almost double if I knew for sure he is a Kastanie.  Continuing breeding trials will seek to unravel this genetic mystery. 

The project was an attempt to discover if the Java morph is actually Kastanie.  Results were promising, but because the two look so much alike, it’s still unclear if the snake you are seeing now is a pure corn or a mutation other than Kastanie?

Though the breeder of the parents of this snake never mentioned it, the shade and amount of yellow in this snake suggests that it could have the Ultra mutation in it’s genome?  Ultra mutants (therefore, Ultramels) are inter-species hybrids of Gray Rat Snake x Corn Snake.
