2013 Amel corn Het for Cinder (one parent was a Peppermint–aka: Amel Cinder).  Most Amels that are het for Cinder have a look that Cinder breeders recognize as markers for being het Cinder.  Of course, just seeing an Amel like this is no guarantee that it IS het Cinder, but it’s handy to have indicators when culling possibly non-Cinder Amels from Het Cinder broods.    S . . .

This 28″ female 2012 Hypo Bloodred has several spinal kinks mostly before her tail and onto the tail.  They have not affected her appetite or digestion, but there is no way to know if safely laying eggs will be in her future.
