No other prey or alterations of pinky mice were ever offered. Like the inheritance of most Leucistic serpents, the Leucistic mutation in Gray-bands is dominant to wild-type (not recessive). Therefore, most F1 out-crossed progeny (hets) have a pale hypomelanistic-like phenotype.
