Show & Tell

Those of us who have tried to photograph the BEST PROFILE of P/S Bloodreds will attest to the resulting frustration. Since both sides are unique in their volume expression of lateral white, one picture seldom exemplifies the quality of one of these gems. BTW, when I first named them Pied-sided Bloodreds (aka: P/S Bloodreds) I did so because one DAY there WILL BE a true Piebald (Pied) Corn Snake and it will likely not be linked solely to Bloodred as this one is. So far, the P/S phenotype is only demonstrated in Bloodred Corns. It would have been reckless and inconsiderate to call them Pied Corns because there would be much future confusion between this mutation and the Pied mutation that will someDAY show random white over the entire body, VS. only on the sides. . . .
