SHOW & TELL

2013 Anery Palmetto Corn Snake. I didn’t expect that I’d like a monochromatic Palmetto with only shades of black, (if we can call BLACK a color ?), but I was SO wrong. I love the way most of the dark flecks are accented with darker black margins. And what’s up with the head plates showing a tinge of red at their edges?
There is about to be a very proud European snake keeper at Terraristika in Hamm this month when this snake (one of only two Anery Palmetto corns in the world AND the ONLY one in Europe) goes home from the expo with her. I’m sure the European corn snake forums and reptile expos will be seeing a lot of this pretty gal as she transforms into adulthood. Even I have never seen a fully-grown Anery Palmetto, so I’m eager to see pictures of her in a year or so. Bonus Pic . . .
